What to Expect on Your First Visit to The Resiliency Co.
I know that reaching out isn’t easy. For a lot of people, deciding to call a therapist or walk through a new door takes more courage than anyone on the outside would ever guess. I want to honor that, and I want you to know exactly what you’re walking into before you get here.
Your first visit isn’t about diving into the deep end. I’m not going to hand you a worksheet, point you at a couch, and ask you to talk about the hardest thing that ever happened to you. That’s not how I start.
What I actually do is get to know you. I want to hear what brought you in, what’s been hard, what you’ve already tried, what has helped even a little, and what hasn’t helped at all. I want to understand your goals, your concerns, and what kind of support feels right for you.
We’ll also talk about how we work. What it looks like to do EMDR or neurofeedback or somatic therapy. What our Lab is and what happens in there. What a retreat experience involves. You get to ask anything. Nothing is off the table.
Our space in Redding is built to feel like a place you can actually breathe. I believe healing happens in environments where people feel genuinely at ease, and I’ve put real care into creating that at 2195 Larkspur Lane Suite 100.
You don’t need to arrive with your life organized or your feelings sorted. You don’t need to know the right words. You just need to show up. I’ll handle the rest.
Whatever your situation is, there is a path forward. I’d be glad to start walking it with you.
If this sounds like where you are right now, reach out. I would love to help you find steady ground again. You can learn more about working with me at resiliencyco.net.
