We help you get your resiliency back.
Intensives of 6 to 29 days with a full clinical team in Redding, California.
Our intensives are for people who want focused care instead of an hour a week. We use the science behind the brain to help you heal, combining Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR and neurofeedback with individual and group counseling. People come to us for trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, sleep problems and brain fog.
Your time here is set apart from the demands of work and home, so you can focus on healing. The length of your intensive is set during your consultation, based on what your treatment needs.
What happens during your intensive
20 Hours of Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a personalized brain training program that starts with a QEEG brain map. Your 20 hours of sessions are aimed at focus, stress and emotional regulation.
10 Hours of Counseling
Your intensive includes 5 hours of individual counseling and 5 hours of group work, all led by our licensed clinicians. They work together as a team, so everyone caring for you knows your goals.
ART and EMDR
Most of our trauma work is done with Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence based approach that uses bilateral stimulation. ART begins within the first few days of your intensive, and treatment may start with what you feel in your body rather than a memory or a story. Some clients also work with EMDR, which uses bilateral stimulation as well.
Small Groups
Groups stay small, with no more than 8 people. Spouses and family can take part in the intensive when that helps the work you are doing.
The Resiliency Lab and Aftercare
Your days also include time in The Resiliency Lab, nutrition education, and practical skills for setting boundaries, communicating in your relationships, and naming and expressing what you feel. After you go home, you have four clinical aftercare sessions by video or in person, whichever works for you.
