COUNSELING
LMFT #137647
Seeking counsel within your circle of family and friends can be difficult. At times, we may feel alone, unheard, or misunderstood. My goal is to provide a safe environment where you can feel heard and where we can address the challenges you are facing together. Our sessions are a place for you to work toward hope and healing.
Traumatic experiences can cause the nervous system to revisit upsetting and painful memories. However, trauma therapy does not require you to relive those experiences. I am trained in evidence-based methods of psychotherapy, including DBT, CBT, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Brainspotting, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches can help you process the past and move toward a more hopeful future.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a graduate of Touro University Worldwide, where I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, and spending time with my husband of 38 years, as well as my children and grandchildren.
I would be honored to speak with you and support you as you begin your healing journey.
"Real contentment must come from within. You and I cannot change or control the world around us, but we can change and control the world within us."
