COUNSELING

TRAINEE

As a clinician with a deep passion for helping others, I bring both professional and personal experience to the counseling relationship, with a background in nursing and years of involvement in military family readiness.

After raising a family, I felt called to return to school to deepen my ability to support others on their healing journeys. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Simpson University and am serving as a trainee.

Outside of counseling, I find joy in creative expression. I have a love for art and experience teaching it, and I enjoy using creativity as a way to promote healing and self-discovery. In my free time, I also love to sew, garden, and spend time with my family—especially in my favorite role as a mom.

I believe in the power of hope and resilience, and one quote that inspires me daily is:

“Believe you can and you're halfway there.” — Theodore Roosevelt
