Kevin has demonstrated in the last thirteen years, a track record for versatility in the counseling field. Kevin has an established history of working as an AMFT, pastoral counselor, life coach, and consultant, to children, teens, young adults, married couples, and individuals. Kevin is currently working on his clinical hours to acquire his licensure as an LMFT. His specialty is mentoring men from their 30-50s, to be masculine, bold, and courageous, yet at the same time being kind, gentle, and compassionate; One of Kevin’s favorite characters in the Bible is King David and how he lived his life in genuine authenticity and transparency before the Lord and other people.Kevin has also had over 10 years of personal research in attachment theory and attachment pain; in addition, he has written a parenting workbook for parents on how to securely bond and attach to their children. Kevin has had 40+ years of experience in playing the piano and 25 years playing the Irish Harp. He regularly utilizes his musical talents in therapy sessions to effectively help clients reduce anxiety and depression. Kevin has studied interpersonal neurobiology at length and how trauma adversely affects the brain/body connection on an emotional and physiological level. Last, one of Kevin’s passions is to integrate biblical/pastoral counseling with psychological principles for clients who desire a faith-based counseling approach.Kevin began working for Dunamis Wellness on 8/25/24; and is currently working through Dunamis as a clinician-based therapist in Redding and Anderson areas.
